Physiotherapy
This is a section of medical care where physical and thermal factors occuring in nature and producing by different kinds of devices are applied.
Diadynamic currents emerge in result of straightening periodically alternating current of frequency 50Hz. There are distinguished six kinds of currents - DF, MF, CP, LP, RS, MM.
By using sets of three or four kinds of presented currents pain is reduced. Endorfines are secreted. Muscle tension may be decreased and blood system may be improved.
Indications – degeneration, pain of joints, backbone, injury of muscles and tendons.
Interferencial currents also called Nemeca currents are currents of average frequency modulated in amplitude with small frequency. In medical care currents 4000Hz are used (E.g. 3900 and 4000Hz or 4000 and 4100Hz). Interference is gotten by using of two independent circuit with two couples of electrodes. Interferencies occur in deep parts of tissue, in source of sickness.
Indications - breaking, twisting, swelling, changes in joints of backbone and lower/upper limbs after degeneration, paresis of nerve, cramp (evoked by immobilization), pain of muscles, tension of muscles, disturbances of blood circulation.
Jonoforeza
There is metod which introduces ions or molecules of medicines through skin or mucous membrane influenced by infra-red light.
Depending on using medicine correction of nerve system is possible. Pain is reduced and level of calcium grows up.
SOLUX lamp (lampa SOLUX) – warming up all tissues through strong infrared light. During this process some tissues are overheating, even in places changed by sickness. Thanks to warming, local correction of blood circulation and stimulation of metabolism is possible. Using different colours of filters expands capability of remedial possibilities of SOLUX lamp.
Procedure is used in treatment of: chronic inflammatory condition of movement system, old problems with injuries, neuralgia, pain of backbone, sinusitis.
Bionik lamp – it is a treatment by polarized light (bio-V, bioptron). It is a helpful method using in different diseases (swelling, inflammatory condition, antibacterial and anti-virus effects).
Indications – skin diseases (psoriasis, egzema, acne), allergies (infections, cold sore), rheumatic sickness of backbone and joints, muscles pain, injuries of every kind, pains of different origins.
Magnetronic (magnetronic) – a treatment by magnetic field of small frequency.
A proper dose of magnetic field acts on organism by changing polarization of cellular membrane, improves absorption of oxygen by all tissues and accelerates processes of regeneration.
It has also positive effect on feeding tissues. It speeds up bones adhesion, stimulates renovation of collagen, improves blood circulation and acts analgestic.
This procedure is applied in treatment of: condition after fracture of bones, dislocation of joints, rip of tendons and joint capsules, degenerations and inflammatory conditions of joints of backbone and limbs, ostheoporozy, ischaemia of heart, sinusitis, bronchitis, wounds, neuralgia.
Terapuls (terapuls)
It is a therapy of pulse magnetic field of great frequency. In effect it changes physical and chemical properties and caused anti-inflammation and analgestic effect.
Terapuls accelerates regeneration of damaged nerve fibres and peripheral blood circulation.
Indications include – inflammation of joints, wounds, ulcers, conditions after surgical intervention, state after injury of soft tissue, prolonged sinusitis and hematomas.
Ultrasounds (ultradźwięki)
Ultrasounds may be divided for following elements: mechanical (extension and compression of tissue, called also micromassage), thermal and physico-chemical. They evoke some results in organism – they correct blood supply, have analgestic effects, improve nervous system, reduce muscels tension.
Indications for treatment by ultrasounds: degeneration and inflammatory diseases of joints, states after injuries, diseases of peripheral nervous system, some diseases of skin (scars, ulcer, varicose veins).
