The biggest treasure of Health Resort Swoszowice, giving renown and respect in Poland as well as in almost whole Europe are remedial waters.

Health Resort Cracow Swoszowice Co. Ltd. offers spa treatment using sulphur waters - real bounty of nature in his region.

About 20 mln years ago Swoszowice was a shallow gulf of miocen sea, where plaster and barit precipitated. Water circulating underground washed away sulphur from plasters and this sulphur occured in Swoszowice as sulphur-soaked rocks or in a form of nests.

Using in treatment unique mineral waters have fifty thousand years.

Mineral water in Swoszowice is chemically homogeneous. It consists of sulphates, calcium, magnesium and sulphur. Total mineralization is 2,64 g/dm3 (research from 31st November 2004). Among anions occur chiefly: sulphates ion and among cations there are: calcium ion, magnesium ion. Water includes 60-80 mg/dm3 hydrogen sulphide.
